About
We, Punda & Chanin, came to Koh Phangan and found not only each other,
but also a way of living shaped by wooden houses,
sea breezes, and the humility of the island’s traditions.

Baan Nuit — meaning both “home” and “the little one” — is our gesture of gratitude and stewardship, honoring the past while sharing a vision for a future
more deeply connected to land, memory, and community.

Mission

From working alongside Northeastern craftsmen to restoring island houses, we discovered how architecture can hold the memory of people and place.
Every beam of reclaimed wood, every open balcony,
every space beneath the house tells a story — of families gathering, of nature guiding design, of respect for what came before.
We want to share this with travelers who seek more than the surface, who wish to glimpse the real Koh Phangan and the way life here shapes the spirit.
Vision
As the island changes,
we believe design can either disconnect or heal.
At Baan Nuit, we choose to answer the land — creating homes that honor the past, serve the present, and inspire the future.
Our vision is to grow not just houses, but community:
a living experiment in how to dwell with care.
We invite guests to join this journey, whether for a short stay or as part of a longer dream, and to leave with a renewed sense of connection — to nature, to others, and to themselves.
